Our First Encounter Poem by Hebert Logerie

Our First Encounter

It was madness
It was fury
It was an explosion
It was a great occasion
You and I were awesome
And it was very hot.

We were very happy
We did not have much
Darling, you and I
Were swimming in joy
Hands in hands
And countless endless afternoons.

Sometimes by the sea
Sometimes in the small garden
Where the scent of jasmine
Was scattered in the air
It was madness
It was euphoria.
