Out From Poem by Obed dela Cruz

Out From

Rating: 5.0

Out from bitterness
And from my weakness,
I embrace this day with love.
Inside me, strength I have.

Out from festering followers
And from joining weak leaders,
This day, I welcome
For I have freedom.

Out from my sad tears
And from the painful sheers,
My chains are gone
And I embrace the new sun.

Out from my dark past
And from being an outcast,
Happiness, without pretending, I show.
To where the truth is, I go.

Everyday is a new day for me.
Everyday, without lie, I say, “I’m happy”
