Outside Norton's Tailor Poem by Justin Gildow

Outside Norton's Tailor

Outside Norton's Tailor
I can see neatly organized clothes on mannequins
on display
They certainly look nice

I know this place will be changed
I know this place will be bought by
someone else
Since William and May are dead and gone
Long gone now

I can only wonder where Jane Stride is now
Where she's at
Where she's gone
Odds are she's extremely lucky
She's still alive
After all this time

Outside Norton's Tailor
I realize it's time to leave and be on my way
The snow is starting to fall lightly
