Pain Of Unknowing Love Poem by william luo

Pain Of Unknowing Love

Rating: 4.5

To look into your eyes,
Is to see the wings of the soul so pure.
Where in silence thy heart lies,
I ached for the life of yours.

To ache for the words you speak,
For the warmth of your touch.
Your smile I'll dearly keep,
Which I treasure for so much.

Yet I fear you'll let go of my hands,
Let your love slip through my fingers.
And rain in tears of sand,
For you are not my love that lingers.

For the pain of rejection that I have led,
May be greater than the pain of a sea of regret.
