Painful Halo
silence wizard whispered
the song of fascinating midnight
in the ears of my buddy and I
taking our longing eyes
to the vague circle around mind
an opening bright door in the dark sky
painful memories
surrounded the gate
aiming to capture the soul
I poured wine in one glass in turn
for my drinking buddy loneliness and I
staring together wistful
at the halo around moon
