Painfully Beautiful Poem by Jennifer Sollmann

Painfully Beautiful

Rating: 5.0

Painfully beautiful
My eyes are glued to you
I can’t look away
I think I love you
But I can’t tell you
For fear of myself
For fear of rejection
You like her, I know.
The knife through my heart
It doesn’t hurt much
When you’re around
When you’re not
Oh how it hurts
I can’t believe how hard I fell
And with no one to catch me
I can’t focus on anything but you
You’re my magnet
I’m drawn to you
And I can’t pull away
Painfully beautiful
That’s what you are.
