Paranoia Poem by Luz H.

Paranoia

Rating: 5.0

Sea of confusion leading to imagined storms
Shadows, thunder, lightning afflict the soul
Dangerous manifestations lurk around
Ghostly sharks encircle the mind
Innocent parties suspected
Perceived smoke forms
Self fulfilling frauds
Assume imagined
Wrongs
Lies!

Distortions, grotesque interpretations
Like foggy mirrors at the county fair
That give birth to irrational dread
Gaseous, dark, baleful clouds
Blocking the guiding light
Climax...culminating in
Dread, full-fledged
Panic Attack
Shipwreck
Death!

I love this creation, its words are suggesting the pains and sufferings but also its form, love how it starts as an enlarged idea imaging more things, to end in a small suffocating word that lets no breathing air. Amazing portray of paranoia, well done, thank you for share.
