Past Poem by Ronald Chapman

Past

Where did the past go?
When, we only had one TV,
Before we had color TV in our home,
Before we could carry our music in our pocket,
When, we only had one car,
When, gas was less than a dollar a gallon,
When our mom was always home to make us a snack after school,
We could play outside until the sun went down,
When people still said hello when they passed you on the street.
Where did the past go?
