What delicate tissue
will open your words
when she gives you love?
What doves fly
from your kissing lips?

In her grey eyes, sigh
crying rainbows,
while the sun unfolds
like a paper flower.

Hi Sally - A very gentle poem. There is a delicay in love which is often crushed by testosterone! The gentleness of 'Tissues' 'Doves' 'Lips'. Verse two leaves the response open ended. The sighing of her grey eyes - rainbow tears - the sun unfolding like a paper flower. It is the gentleness of the love in the poem which makes it very evocative. I came back to it time after time to try to ubderstand the resons for the sigh and the crying after her generous gift of love. It still eludes me - nevertheless I still give it a MAX. Love in poetry JOHN.
