Tiny thumps from within my beating heart,
From your constant reminders I shall never depart.
For ever here, and here I will stay,
Until your memories softly fade away.
Days pass, no work gets done,
As I dream of the day you will come.
Take me in your arms and hold me tight,
And slip me off into the velvet night.
Take me by horse atop the clouds,
Show me the Heavens and all of its crowds.
O’ my knight in shining gray,
Whisper the love words you say.
As I sit here in such a surreal reverie,
Come sweep my away in reality.
But now I just sit, dream, and patiently wait,
For when you come my perfect mate.
