Personal Cost Paid For Peace Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Personal Cost Paid For Peace

Rating: 5.0

peace has been
a good place to live
a long way from

the wars
we our fathers’ fought
write out

dictate transcribe
some of those stories
lived heard told

heritage family
are important anchors
to living past

passing
into
memory

with
clues
cues

to who
we were
are will be

it is good
it would be good
for your children

to know
something
of those

years
in your their parents
lives
