Petty Crook Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Petty Crook

From where I stand...
I see a thief.
From a place in your head,
You are trying to upgrade...
To another level of cheapening,
What I first thought...
Would be a sweet and innocent excursion.

From where I stand...
I see a thief.
From a place in your head,
You are trying to upgrade...
To another level of cheapening,
What I first thought...
Would be a sweet and innocent excursion.

But you only want to be a petty crook.
With a good body that can reel in a rise!
