Picture Perfect Poem by Brian Reaves

Picture Perfect

Picture perfect, there's no such thing,
Except the one inside your dreams.
A vision less than excellence,
Tell me how could I resist?
To be a portrait of magnitude,
From the gallery in which you choose,
A stroke of genius from each brush,
Designed inside the life I trust.
Like the clouds from up above,
Painted by a stroke of love.
The sun which shines across the land,
And sheds it light inside each man.
To give to me the hope of life,
Through dreams I have throughout the night.
To press upon my journeys way,
And reach its' destiny soon someday.
Resist the paths that lead to sin,
And travel on unto thee end.
To take the good as well as bad,
And cherish all the things I have.
I'll take this wisdom and be assertive,
And live my life, in picture perfect.
