Pier And Melody
I heard loud whistles
as hawser slide to sea
up walkways body erect
facing swarm of sad faces
as sun peeps morning breeze
music beats from a band
rustling napkins touch
their lovely faces again
I sigh to sympathy of love
flowing to auras of multiples
rendering so many to singles
crows flying overhead teasing,
landing to nearest tree, waiting
for hands out to sustain a day
I wish life is that so easy
