Pinching Your Wonderful Heart Poem by Hebert Logerie

Pinching Your Wonderful Heart

I pinched your wonderful heart
To see how you would react
I pulled a penumbra from your hair
Because that was a dare
I want to know where I stand
With you, if you understand
My concerns, worries and obligations
Words are as important as actions
That was a minor litmus test
For a second, I wanted to be a pest
A good one, one which means well
One who wanted to fill up your well
Yes, I did poke
You for fun, as a joke.
