Please Remember Me Poem by nicolas thomas

Please Remember Me

This is the cure to a broken day,
What more can I say?
Have you ever felt like
Life isn't worth the hike.

I knew one, once ago.
A girl with a life so hollow.
Suffering on a daily base,
From a family out of case

I'm not asking for forgiveness.
I was blinded by the bliss,
Emitted from your sweet smile,
And eyes as clear as the Nile.

Please just promise me one thing;
Remember me,
Remember me for the fun rides,
Remember me for the thrilling nights,
Please just remember me.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I lost a close friend a few days ago. We had great times but we were both at different levels in our friendships.
She wants to forget me but i dont want her to forget the good times just because we had a falling out
