Pleasure Of Poetry
From the mundane experience
Of this monotonous stale life,
You all take us to a fanciful
World of love, affection, anger.
Diction shapes your thoughts
And imagination lends you
Simile, imagery, metaphor...
Winged by your power,
You make us travel along
The lands of suspended-reality.
We laugh, we cry, we get thrilled.
The blocking-stone of our
Closed emotion, thus, gets free,
Unlocking the pent-up emotions.
The flow of your poems
Floats us to the domain
Of our beloved's hearts.
His emotion mingles with hers,
And hers with theirs, ours....
The outburst of our feelings
Gets tuned with a single
universal note.
Pleasure of poetry is created.
