Plenty Of Friends Poem by Randy McClave

Plenty Of Friends

He says that he has plenty of friends
But, only when winter ends,
Because in the cold time of winter
Into his circle of friends all will refuse to enter.
When summertime starts
Everyone has excited and fast beating hearts,
But, any other time of the year
Their ears are covered up so not to hear.
No one will ever come to his house to visit
If they don't believe where they are going is exciting and exquisite,
And no one will ever stay around
If no excitement is there found.
If it wasn't for his pool
They wouldn't think of him as awesome and cool,
And if it wasn't for his boat
For friend of the year he wouldn't get one single vote.
And because of his game room
There's excitement without any gloom,
Soon friends will be again be contacting him with a grin
Soon, it will be summertime again.
