Poetic Haven.
When emotions
Spill over,
And have no place
To go,
I look for some poems
That I love and know.
Reading, becoming
Emotional, once more
With thrilling, sensations
That I adore.
Just like when
First read,
Certain poems
Never die
But keep giving
More, instead.
So openly,
So splendidly
They give,
Asking for nothing
In return,
Except,
To be read and loved
Once more,
As eternally they search
For the purity of stars,
Never too far, never too far.
Liked the ultimate stanza. Touching and so very true. Eternal poems are givers. All they want is to be read and loved. Magnificent poetic expression that only a true Poet can express how a great poem can affect our life
