Her husband
Has left her
So she's
Taken to
Poetry

His mother
Has died
So he's
Taken to
Poetry

She's lost
Her son
So she's
Taken to
Poetry

His wife
Has passed
Away
So he's
Taken to poetry

Her Beloved
Doesn't respond
So she's taken to
Poetry

He's lost his
Brother
So he's
Taken to poetry

Amongst the
he, she, they, we
Of all the people,
Out here and out
There,
Why on earth
Have I taken
To poetry...? ? ?

Really,
Something
Must have
Happened to me

Yes,
Life has left me

So I've taken to poetry
