What else is there to say?
It is not hard,
Or maybe it is.
But it is worth the try,
Poetry.
Is something that is great.
It releases feeling
Kept in the dark.
Don't worry.
Rhyming is not necessary.
In fact,
A good poem
Is what it is inside.
But don't forget
That you have to know what it means
Because without knowing,
What is the whole purpose of poetry?

Interesting thoughts here. Robert Service once said anyone with a rhyming dictionary and a thesaurus can write poetry. The trick is to be individualistic and make sense as well. As a poetry teacher I say ‘read good poetry and yours will reflect the flavor’. You cracked the individualistic cue. Thankfully you answered your question 'are you going to try?
