“Uncle you have few teeth left”
“There seems complete reversal and shift”
“How will you continue with your romantic image?
One of my friends was hell bent upon to chase
Your face has got wrinkles
There is little bend in ankles
Your back bone is also leaning
Uncle I wish to speak no more on defining
I was unmoved by his remarks
But he had made it with powerful start
He was in full mood to pull me down
As I was of romantic fame and known
“Your belly too is bulging out”
“Why to speak other things about? ”
You must gracefully retire now
He tried to end it with satire
I thought it wise to remain quiet
As I was ordinary but good poet
“The time should be opportune”
“To sing melody with tune” I thought and smiled
I called friend when had good gathering
He was seen mixing and loitering
“Is there any use to air melody before buffalo”?
How will she respond and say hello?
He was shocked as rug was pulled
The atmosphere was now fully fueled
He was now about to be shamed
He grew anxious and stood little fumed
“Poetry comes from heart”
“It needs no beautiful face to look smart”
“Listen to the music of flowing water”
“She is not afraid of being altered”
These lines pushed him to corner
It was realized and he drew near
“Can I apologize for being inconsiderate”?
“No dear it is unwarranted and has come very late” I smiled little
