Poetry Is A Business Too Poem by Hebert Logerie

Poetry Is A Business Too

Poetry is a business like the others
I saw a few poems being sold a few days ago
For a lot of money. I'm talking about a lot of zeros
After a big number nine. Unfortunately, a few plays
Were left unsold; they were too long
As you well know, a poem is a gorgeous song
Colloquially called lyrics. How fancy?
How stylish? Poetry is a business too
Just like the lyrics of the literate Manitou
Nowadays, everything is modern and sexy
Maya died a millionaire. Oprha is a billionaire
Justin is filthy rich, yet Michael is not a trillionaire
Mind you, many are greedy. Poetry is a business
There's is a lot of hours involved. Poetry wants peace
Everywhere on earth, that's why many people think
That Poetry is a hobby, which can destroy boredom
Fatigue, negative feelings, hate and racism. Freedom
And poetry go hand in hand, the two share a special link.
