Point Of Departure Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Point Of Departure

Rating: 5.0

As we walked along
side by side
together
yet infinitely apart.

I asked
constantly internally
self same
perplexing question.

How can one
soar like an eagle
when one
walks with a turkey?

I wanted to scream
come fly with me
share my love
blend in thought.

Climb serenity
tree encompassing knowledge
among high sweeping branches
cast forth upon solar winds.

Soar through universe
share unknown splendor
merge minds
eternally entwined.
