Politics Is Everywhere In The Air Poem by Hebert Logerie

Politics Is Everywhere In The Air

Politics is everywhere in the air
From the earth bedrock to the thermosphere
Politics plays a monumental role
In our daily stroll
Politics is like the pollen in the air
Politics is like the clowns at the circus, at the fair
Ignoring the importance of politics
Can be detrimental to our welfare or well-being
We need to deal with its mechanics
From time to time, just living
Is not sufficient. We need to do more
Politics can compete with Mother Nature
Politics has a serious impact in our future
We need to say much more. The door
Is wide open, we can easily get sucked in
Or be pushed straight into the dungeon
We have seen countless examples over the years
Stop being comforted by our salty tears
Have no fear to meddle in politics
To make a positive difference. Kill the ticks
Before we get stunned and stung
Fight them before we get hanged
All politics stop at the moment of death
Afterwards, over what is left
People are talking, gossiping
Arguing, fighting, and mourning.
