Popular Guy! Poem by sania harris

Popular Guy!

Rating: 4.2

Popularity raised him to the highest chair
He was every girl’s wish, every girl’s prayer
His eyes were of the darkest black
The darkest, that you would stare forever
His locker is filled with love notes
Whether he bothers to read them…who knows?
Among the cluster of the notes, mine lay too
Silent, unspoken, hidden deep in the blue
He might have read it, I am sure
Because he walked towards me the next day
I went tomato red not knowing what to say
His subtle hands held mine
And he whispered ‘I love you’ in my ear
Life turned out to be more than just perfect
I loved every moment being with him
**********************************
Two days later I ran into him
And what I saw was worse than grim
He was holding hands of another girl
He didn’t seem bothered that I was looking at him
I saw him again another day
Another way, another time
With another girl, another smile, another face
I cried for long being bitterly used
Bruised, abused, confused!
**********************************
I fell in love with him because he was popular
And now… I fell out of love with him
For pretty much the same reason! ! !

Oh no I feel you on this one. I have to say I am old now but you brought back a memory similar to this. I think all females have had this happen and all I can say is when he gets my age I hope he will be bald with a huge wart on his nose and wrinkles all over for being ugly to you.10 from me.
