Position To Hold Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I never thought of resigning
And go for volunteer signing
To be off the scene at will
That was sure to receive mix feel

I had nice position to hold
Tackled problems with high head in world
People were approaching with genuine problems
It was life and death with real concern

I worked till last day before retirement
Everybody had unhappy moment
Even though, it was practice and call
One needs to think about collapse of wall

Life is full of achievement
One need not look at back movement
You did whatever you could
The future must be opened and should

The retirement is another opportunity
Redefine autumn without feeling guilty
The good work done may certainly enthral
You have everything to feel and moult at will
