Praying Poem by john tiong chunghoo

Praying

praying
is when
the brook
tinkles in
its clear sky

the swalows
chirp a la shelley's
ehoing a
ballooned joy
in the scarlet sky

the chuckle of
child as mom
nudges him
towards
her bossom
over the roar
of ocean
and beach flying
with its sand

two frogs
one over
the other
staring
stoically
at the
glitters of
night

i agree, JTC, lovely images. organized prayer? what a confining idea. spirituality is abundant in nature. Sus

You paint such a glorious view of a prayer and I hope it comes to you John and me too. I love the lasting frogs image so much and the a la shelley verse is glorious too. One typo 'swallows' Thanks for sharing this heavenly poetic view and it is here on earth, we just have to find each our own. Tai
