Presidential Inauguration In Washington, D.C. Poem by Hebert Logerie

Presidential Inauguration In Washington, D.C.

Rating: 5.0

This year
The presidential inauguration
Is the celebration of an election
Which was free, clean, and fair
Honest and square
There was ZERO fraud. One nightmare
Was inevitable, the loser
Refused to concede to the winner
As customary. The sore loser
Was a huge danger, a pathological liar and bragger
Who believed in his own churlish and childish lies
And who convinced other belligerent and unwise
Goons and fools to come to Washington DC
To storm and attack the U.S. Capitol edifice
Which is one of the most magnificent buildings
In the Capital of the United States
The insurrectionists acted like criminals and vile gangs
Who besieged the hallways and made many mistakes
Enough ugly and grotesque details, enough negative stuff
'Cause they rioted, robbed, throbbed, huffed and puffed
Most of them will be apprehended and will end up in jail
Soon as per the FBI. This is part of the historic tale
We have a new President
Who is competent, experienced, smart and classy
We have a new Woman Vice President
Who is also qualified to make history
This is of course an historic day
A historical event, a special inauguration
And a monumental celebration
Long live Unity! Long live Democracy
This is a beautiful day
The President and the VP swear to protect
The Constitution
Both swear also to respect
The Constitution
This is a must obligation
This is a wonderful patriotic day in America
This is a new dawn. Long live America!
