How come birds fly?
How come they try to reach for the sky?

Do you know what a boy like me fears?

Will you hear about the girl this boy have strong affection for?
Will you sing about the heart any more?

Oh pretty bird, please tell me
How ever could I catch her attention?
How ever could I know her intention?

Oh pretty bird, please tell me
How come birds do sing?
Is it peace they are trying to bring?

But pretty bird, please tell me
If birds sing, and peace they bring
What if I do sing, will I joy bring?
