Prime Minister In Action Poem by Purusottam Chuli

Minister No.1 I am
To excel my predecessors-PM;
For this, I am not to monopolize
Doordarshan but to prove
Myself in action.

When the whole of Mother India
Is in happy Diwali illumination,
I have been to Siachen glacier
To boost morale of Jawans in action.

My detractors may label my Kashmir visit
As preparation-eve to Assembly election;
To be honest, it is my Diwali endeavour
At glorifying homesick Jawans in action.

Much mudslinging has occurred
Since days of freedom;
Time has now come to show that
Not riches and nepotism but action alone
Can wipe out every tear and tension.
