Protecting Me

A friend that guards me through the night
Some may have seen your wondrous sight
You love and protect whether right or wrong
And guide us as the day is long

Some people they just cannot see
That angel standing next to me
I don’t, but I know you are there
With tender touch and loving care

And so this poem is to you
That Guardian Angel oh so true
Protecting people everywhere
Ask no favours but always there
