Psalm-111 (Original) Poem by Walterrean Salley

Psalm-111 (Original)

(Divine comfort and assurance.)

Wearily I call to him in prayer
His presence is manifested.
…His hand ‘pon my shoulder.

My soul is quickened.
With tears of joy,
My heart palpitates.
And through quivering lips,
I render praises to him.

Assurance overwhelms.
My heart is strengthened,
And, in him, I am comforted.
