Pulling Me Under! Poem by Shantel Novley

Wrists hurting, Eyes bulging, Feelings unwanted!
My heart hurts from ur words piercing pain through my veins.
I scream for help but on one is there.
I need a hand to help me live, to pull me up sky high.

Feelings consume me, pulling me under, there is no way out, I surrender.
Scared to lose your great love, scared im gunna fall apart.
They say im strong enough to hold my love and have me not go under, but this pain is just to deep.
Iv screamed to long, voice becomes a distant noise.

U cut me deep with the words u keep.
Stab wound runs deep with the pain though the darkness in the hole which used to hold my heart.
These feelings trapped no way to get out.
Feelings running through my head filling every corner.
I'm running out of energy.

Feel like running away the pain just weeps and weeps.
Cant find myself in this hallow pit of cold.
Told u I surrender but this this cant be heard for my voice has finally let go.

I try to let go of wat we were and could have been, so I leave you here with minimal pain.
I'm walking away from wat I love to and feeling like I could die.
