Pushed Aside Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Pushed Aside

Rating: 5.0

I never acted mad
Basically a human being and good
I was known as decent with character
It was favorable factor

Something happened that night
I made desperate attempt
On unknown girl to molest
But she was intelligent and alert

I was pushed aside
She was fully in control and decided
To thwart any move to protect her modesty
She was clever even though looked pretty

I was engulfed with wild temper
The futile attempt angered me
I was not in position to think
She gave one slap heavily to sink

I thought of far reaching consequences
I realized now that it was lost chance
Now it was in her hand to save my face
With one loud call, I shall be out of race

“Never consider any girl so helpless”
She snarled at me and gave hard chase
“Dare not in future to drive on lonely girl”
You can be reduced to dust in turn

I could not catch her feet
Else I was prepared to meet
Any condition that she was forcing
Thank God, she sent me off with stern warning
