Quickly Now Poem by Heart of Ice Die Die Die

Quickly Now

Cover up the marks,
quick before they see.
God it stings,
it burns.
Don't touch,
I'm sore.
All I can say is:
meow?
That's the sound
my kitty-cate makes.
But my cat
is hairless
and shiny.
A long blade
and a black handle
made to hold.
The ones who REALLY
know my CAT
shake their heads
and say why?
Why why why...
Oh,
reasons.
My other 'CAT'
is a pair of scissors.
They're very nice.
Covering up my scars
like a nasty zit
before prom.
Hiding everything,
keeping the shirts
pulled low over my hips,
and my shorts long
to cover them up.
Sharpie and white-out hearts
all over them,
just in case.
Oh, how cute Shell!
I LOVE
all the little hearts!
I KNOOW!
How cute are they? !
Concern filling
their faces,
my friends are afraid.
More and more obvious,
deeper and deeper
the cuts are becoming.
DANGER ZONE!
That's the message
their eyes send to eachother
as my cuts inch
closer and closer
to my wrists.
Uh-oh!
Shell's a liar!
Those aren't-
Never mind her!
She's dillusional,
thinks she's a unicorn.
Cover up the marks,
quick before they see.
