i sit indoors to hide my pain
listening to the frightning rain

with raindrops on my window sill
its hard for me to just sit still

you left me here with no regrets
you took your things but left your pets

with raindrops on my window sill
the words you said still make me shrill

i cry at nights when the sky lets go
dream of us when the rain was snow

with raindrops on my window sill
as i wait for some heart to steal
