Rain God Reigns Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Rain God Reigns

Rain god reigns

It is almost a week
We are feeling so week
Against an arm of rain god
That has unleashed earth with rain load
It is water
All over
Almost knee deep
To keep us guessing
Thousands of cooling machines can't provide
That nature adds coolness and decides
The atmosphere with rainbows and green belt
With flowers appearing all over and their presence is felt

Hundreds of people are marooned
The desert has uninterrupted monsoon
People are on the roof top
Some are saved through airlift and mission goes on nonstop

The thunder makes heart to fear
The rain comes on earth with great roar
Whole of season's rain in just few hours
The people are shouting for help and shelter

People are helpless
Against mighty face
Of rain god and its reign
It is granted really from the heaven

We need water and hope rain, without water we can't survive. But sometimes due to the cruel reign of Rain God we face flood and life loss, very fantastic expression.
