Rain On Me. Poem by Jenna Kaminski

Rain On Me.

Rain, rain won't you come and stay?
Please stay and never go away.
Because without you, they'll all know I'm dying.
And without, they'll all see me crying.
I can smell the sweet fragrance that you leave in the air.
As I close my eyes I feel like my soul is bare.
The sound of your thunder is pounding strong and steady.
It's making me wonder if my heart is ready
to be taken into your warm grasp.
You're coming down now, oh so fast.
I know this feeling will not last so
rain, rain won't you come and stay?
Rain, rain please don't go away.
