Raindrops That Serene Poem by Milo Lone Elk

Raindrops That Serene

As the furious rain torrent the grounds
Shaking with veracious turmoil
Lavishing a peaceful sound
It floods the forest with heaps of gold
As tranquil ferments what the trees behold
As it falls, falling from the heavens
Placid downpour, transcending from what has been stolen
It ends the dullness of the desecration within
Sighing with whispers it disappears again
The tribunal hails the truce
Ruffled among the clouds in the sun
It doesn't amuse
The fact that it penetrates its showering rays
To what needs to be done
It lushes the pine needles and feeds the young
Washing in the mainstream of everything that comes
It nourish the leaves that is hidden beneath
Fostering the jaded roots stretching underneath
Concentrating on this caring moment
It quiets its new
Replacing the cold
With the tranquil that soothes
Oh how the raindrops serene
It continues this day
Fulfilling its duties to what we need
So that serenity is here to stay
