Rape Poem by Sharron Stephenson

Rape

Rating: 5.0

whispers of heat clouds if cold
movies to cry pens to write the soul
memories of lines cars ice cream and control
lies are told to protect
music loud to drown the slaps and rape
hitch and no-where to run now and ever
the last wish
I was never born or lived

A crime of power shredding the soul of the victim. A moving poem.
