Rather It Be Him

honey im glad you are here
and i really do like you dear

but i need to go, its something i have to do
because my feelings are for someone other than you

im sorry and thanks for taking his place
filling up that hole and making my heart race

me and him may not work but its worth a shot
and i do love him, and i should've told you so i didn't get caught

so im gone, out the door
dont look back because you will only hurt more

while you were kissing me i was tasting his lips
and i had him on my mind when you held me by my hips

i was thinking of memories with him when you were holding my hand
i cant do this anymore, i just cant

id rather it be him so im breaking away
please dont be mad everything will be okay

im not worth all the fighting
and its not gonna be you thats at home crying

so go and find that someone out there
because im done with all the hiding, because none of this was fair

"Heaven"—is what I cannot reach!
The Apple on the Tree—
Provided it do hopeless—hang—
That—"Heaven" is—to Me!
