Recession Poem by Michael Taylor

Years from now how will we look back on today was it a great recession?
Or will we look back at the recession that made us great?
When the cars we build became smarter, and the houses we lived in where not for just showing off.
When we remembered living well and living within our means we have survived through 12 economic recoveries but this one is different, for we are different.
This is the time we realized that our things are not as important as the future we are building for our Children.
This is when we shall come together as one people hands held high and shout into the heavens that we shall not be defeated by this for we are one, we are the United States of America!
