Red River Of Revenge Poem by Stephanie Blodgett

Red River Of Revenge

Rating: 4.8

I hold the bloody Katonah in my hand
Over the red river do I stand
As my body grows weak and my knees give in
I feel the fear crawl beneath my skin
As I realized I’m not meat to win
Things are looking quick grim
As my security grows increasingly thin
I become paralyzed in my own paranoid mind
As I look behind my back
Awaiting my enemies attack
Why am I so fearful
For I have dominated them all
Maybe its because I know I’m crazy
And I will eventually fall
But I cannot call that failure
So I cannot possibly frown
As I look upon this empty town
But then I look to the ground
Knowing I slaughtered them all…
But at least I can no longer fall
