Redemption Poem by Engy El Ghanam

Redemption

Stillness cuts to the core of words and meaning
cant hide what’s my smile’s revealing
it’s the thoughts of the intellectual
that spreads the word of the weak
the one who interprets the potentials
like the fast descent that follows the touch of peak
and I smile…for i judged their act
the misconception of the core of fact
the mislead of a certain point of view
that covered every decent path to every single clue
they are here to judge you too, be ware
Let them face the mirror and stare
Philosophize up till the crack of dawn
But Stand for who your are and fight for what you own
A property, a thought, a passion. I could care less
Was there before you, but I cleaned my mess
the message that I want you to conceive
Is be decisive, don't look back, believe
Did it get you anywhere whilst waiting
Did it worth all the arguments, worth debating!
suppressed inside the spot that lies ahead
and scared of what the sight could reach if raised the head
well….life aint green nor pink or blue…
its yesterday, its this moment, its me, its you
the joy is in the thoughts we hold within the heart
butterflies pass us by so unnoticed and they part
in search of them we waste so much in vain
dreams we persist to posses is what bring the pain
you must fear not to step out of your comfort zone
should then enjoy how much your intuition 's grown
there's nothing come to match the thrill
the one you feel when you surrender to your will
and go untamed and wild as wind and as far
had never been a chain around your neck, never was a scar
……….life aint blue or pink nor green
as real as it is we are half good, half mean
we cannot put one trait to a word, never enough
life is simple.not that colorful, not that tough
let no one tell you what you should do
and tell no one what they should too…..
peal away the differences and the faces
hearts are redeemed with equal paces.
