No Judgement Poem by Engy El Ghanam

No Judgement

Write the words “the end”, save not the best for last
Set the sails for wind, let go of all the past
Sleep without tomorrow, dream without the hope
Invade the space of sorrow and learn to breathe, to cope
Surrender all your senses and strangle voice of reason
Beyond the growing fences for both love and treason
Do not make me talk.dont want to hurt you back
Have nothing I can say, just walk…words to my thoughts I lack
Inside I have a million thought I bare with fortitude
All about what your love had brought of pain and solitude
I will not raise a judgment, my statement I will hold
Regardless of what you meant with the thousand lies you’ve told
Do not proceed to explain the wrong you cant undone
Wouldn’t possibly ease the pain or bring the trust that’s gone
Do you see me! Do I have a face! Am I frozen!
Feel so deprived of grace, my lips are sealed with words unspoken
Cannot force my heart to hate you, let not your thoughts collide
And I don’t know where silence leads to, nor have the courage to hide
A wound unhealing, challenged ma faith in who I am
The burden had me kneeling and higher goes the dam
That day just came like any other, the day I had to leave
Just another, abandonment of the curtsey to believe
That you have come to change, that you I understand
The painful thoughts outrange my will again to stand
