Reflections Poem by justin barrett

Reflections

Rating: 4.6

A world of mirrors,
I can not hide.
Love or hate,
I can not decide.
Give me truth,
Or tell me lies.
Either way,
Comes crying eyes.
I can not run,
From the truth within,
Be it devine,
Or a mortal sin.
Giving me strength,
Or weakining me so.
Whatever the outcome,
I wish to know.
I can not hide,
From the true connection.
I can not run,
from my own reflection.

Very good! Yes, it's good to look inside once in a while. If only our 'mirror, mirror on the wall' was always at our beck and call! ~Pene

That is why we must love ourselves and be able to forgive ourselves for our sins. We are only human and we all make mistakes and all have special qualities. Good poem, Justin. '10! ' Warm Wishes, Marilyn
