Reflections At The End Of The Week Poem by Royston Allen

Reflections At The End Of The Week

The good that I would
I did not
and the bad that I should not
I went and did.
But I had tried so hard to be good
and to walk so close to You.

Now, as I say “Goodbye” to the old week
and say “hello” to the new,
I thank you for giving me another chance
to walk much closer to You.
