Regrets Poem by Barry Jablonski

Regrets

Do you have any regrets?
I may own a dozen or two
Gladly I will sell you one
If you feel you have too few

Sadly, there are no takers
My regrets, are mine alone
They are with me always
Though seldom ever shown

Why must I feel regrets
For choices made long ago
Is it because my mistakes
Have nowhere else to go?

The years pass by quickly
Some regrets may fade away
While others last a lifetime
And remind you every day
