Reign Burden Free, Be Strong Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Reign Burden Free, Be Strong

Judge
If needed
Know this soul
First and foremost
Before the shallow
Runs cold
In this heart's abode
Where nothing
Will ever be resolved
By the silence
Of empty promises
Left unspoken
Words tied
In knots
Oblique
In the ire
Of an enslaved muse

Encamped by a dull moot
To a mind's clearance
Peering high and away
Towards countless miles
For something, anything
Away from this burden
Around this neck
The ignorant abhorrent noose
Of the unknown decision
Made deliriously
By something
Vicariously rummaging
Place to place
From flame to fleece
Feasting on the weary
And the hope
They once encountered
To only be devoured
By vanity's own patron coward
And all the hope
That crumbles in distaste

And the search is on
For the sword
Of golden truth
To finally cut off
This ignorant
Abhorrent noose

Designed by
Those whom prey
On chaos and disarray
Using nothing but lies
By directing the blind
To fall hard into line
Pushing them all behind
As they lead each to slaughter
Thinking they all did their part
In something they thought was sacred

And the dreamer's vision
Blocked by those
Who have been brainwashed
In thinking
All will get worse
From here on out

Inspired all
By schemers, deceivers
Scammers and
So called believers
Preaching morals
Inside a hypocrite's mural
Plastered on the wall of delusion
Illusions funded by those
Unable
To cast their own decisions

Judge
If it makes you happy

Not just me
But many
We are dreamers
But that makes us
The enemy
Of who
Is truly in control

The emptiness created
By those empowered
To destroy the great unknown

Creating villains
So they can be heroes to all

And the world will die
Yet they will find another
And leave us all behind

Its human nature
The pecking order of man

Society defined
By money, fame
And all things
That never matter
When the soul
Finally leaves
The body behind

So who is really successful?
When all is said and done
Judgement means nothing
To those who can think
On their own

All in all
It all comes down to love
The most undisputed thing
That should unite us all

But the pride
Of factions
Get in the way of everything

When will humanity learn?
That they are not gods

This from an alien without a true home
Forever roaming nomadic roams

Learn from your mistakes
And love and live on

It's never too late
To be as one

Humankind, love and live on!
Reign burden free
Be strong!
